For Print TRACK students, the course that must have been completed prior to the internship is JOU 301 News Reporting OR JOU 303 News Editing, DEPENDING ON THE TYPE OF INTERNSHIP AND OTHER FACTORS, and students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in major coursework and a 2.6 GPA overall.

For Broadcast Journalism TRACK students, the course that must have been completed prior to the internship is JOU 302 Radio/TV news reporting, and students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in major coursework and a 2.6 GPA overall.
